In her younger years, she married Henry Anderson and to this union a daughter was born. The couple later divorced. Francis John Dostal, died February 14, 1996.

Mildred liked to play cards, mainly euchre, and she did not like to lose. She also had a love of her garden and enjoyed canning. Will Jo, her grandson, said she made the best Open Crock Sour Dill pickles he had ever tasted and her Baby Dills were one inch long and picture perfect in the jar. She especially loved family gatherings and time spent with the grandchildren and great-grandchildren. We treasure all these memories. God grant her peace.
