NASHUA - Marian F. Wilkens, 86, of Nashua, died Wednesday, Feb. 25, 2009, at St. Marys Hospital, Rochester, Minn.

She was born Feb. 26, 1922, near Clarksville, daughter of Charles and Martha Henrichs Edelman. She married Willie E. Wilkens on Feb. 15, 1949, in Allison. He died Feb. 28, 1995.

Mrs. Wilkens and her husband farmed in the Parkersburg and Tripoli areas before moving to Wisconsin for a short time. They moved to Fredericksburg where they farmed until retirement. She also worked at Mienerz Creamery, Fredericksburg, for a number of years, and was a member of St. John Lutheran Church.

Survived by a son, Duane (Lynn) of Fredericksburg; four sisters, Anna Nagen of Waverly, Dina Junker of Nashua, Margery Endelman of Parkersburg and Florence Schrage of Shell Rock; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by a daughter, Shirley Wilkens; two brothers, Harry and Siebert Endelman; and a sister, Tina Wilkens

Services: 11 a.m. Saturday at St. John Lutheran Church, Nashua, with burial in Oak Hill Cemetery, Parkersburg. Public visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. today at Hugeback & Chenoweth Funeral Home, Nashua, and for an hour before services Saturday at the church.
