Obituary for Debra S. Hoeger--

Debra S. Hoeger age 50 of New Hampton, Iowa, died Thursday, November 21, 2013, at Linn Haven Rehab and Healthcare in New Hampton. Debra passed peacefully surrounded by her family.

Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Monday, November 25, 2013, at Trinity Lutheran Church, New Hampton with Pastor Kevin Frey presiding. Crossbearer for the service will be Clifton Converse.

Interment will be in the New Hampton City Cemetery with Kenneth Lechtenberg, Dennis Lechtenberg, Rich Lechtenberg, Dale Lechtenberg, Derek Lechtenberg, and Dustin Lechtenberg serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearer is Delbert Lechtenberg.

Friends may greet the family 2:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Sunday, November 24, 2013, at the Hugeback - Johnson Funeral Home in New Hampton. Visitation continues an hour prior to the service at the church on Monday.

Debra Susan Hoeger was born December 18, 1962, in New Hampton, the daughter of Earl and Darlene (Lechtenberg) Aegerter. She received her education in Sumner and was a 1981 graduate of the Sumner High School. In 1981, she was united in marriage to Gary Hoeger. To this union three children were born. The couple later divorced.

Deb devoted her time to her children throughout her life. In 1999, she moved to New Hampton and began anew, working at the former First National Bank. Her passions were her family and being part of their lives, helping others, spending time outdoors, working in the kitchen, and enjoying antiques.

Survivors include two sons, Brandon Hoeger of Sumner and Blake Hoeger of New Hampton; one daughter, Brooke (Blake) Brockhohn of Cedar Rapids; two granddaughters, Elliana Brockhohn and another soon-to-arrive; her mother, Darlene Aegerter of New Hampton; three brothers, Michael Aegerter of Nashua, Patrick Aegerter of Frederika and Steven (Lisa) Aegerter of New Hampton; two sisters, Diane (Greig) Burggraf of Fredericksburg and Lisa Converse of Sumner; her children’s grandmother, Shirley Morgan of Clear Lake; many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Earl Aegerter in 1999; and her grandparents, Anton and Agnes Lechtenberg and Edwin and Helen Hennings.
