NEW HAMPTON - Beverly Ann Rossow, 79, of New Hampton, died Sunday, Dec. 7, 2008, at Mercy Medical Center.
She was born March 27, 1929, in New Hampton, daughter of Frank and Pearl Grove Parson. On June 16, 1956, she married Duane C. Rossow at Little Brown Church, Nashua.
Mrs. Rossow was a 1947 graduate of New Hampton High School. She worked in New Hampton as a telephone operator for many years. She also did baby-sitting for area families and worked at the Treasure House.
Survived by her husband; and a sister, Eunice Teichgraeber of California.
Preceded in death by seven sisters.
Services: 11 a.m. Wednesday at United Methodist Church, New Hampton, with burial in New Hampton Cemetery. Public visitation from 3 to 7 p.m. today at Hugeback & Chenoweth Funeral Home, New Hampton, and for an hour before services Wednesday at the church

#2Beverly Ann Rossow age 79 of New Hampton died Sunday evening, December 7, 2008, at Mercy Medical Center in New Hampton.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 10, 2008, at the United Methodist Church in New Hampton with Pastor Marshall Monthei presiding and Ann Bennett as organist.
Interment will be in the New Hampton Cemetery with Jim Boos, Bud Drewelow, Roscoe McDonald, Adam Lamourex, Mark Lamourex and Gerald Monaghan as casketbearers. Honorary casketbearers are the girls from the "Little House of Bargains".
Friends may call 3:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at Hugeback & Chenoweth Funeral Home in New Hampton. Visitation continues an hour prior to the service at the church on Wednesday.
Beverly was born March 27, 1929, in New Hampton, IA, the daughter of Frank and Pearl (Grove) Parson. She received her education in New Hampton and was a 1947 graduate of the New Hampton High School.
On June 16, 1956, at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, Beverly was united in marriage to Duane C. Rossow. The couple made their home in New Hampton.
Following her education she began working in New Hampton as a telephone operator for many years. She had also done babysitting for area families and worked at the Treasure House where she was also a board member. In her free time, she enjoyed dancing, roller-skating, fishing and in later life enjoyed going to local casinos.
Beverly is survived by her husband of 52 years, Duane Rossow of New Hampton; one sister, Eunice Teichgraeber of California and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and seven sisters.
