Mr. John Hayden of Chickasaw, who has been suffering for some time with an abscess on the liver, died at Charles City, where he was receiving medical treatment, December 27, 1889, and was buried the following Sunday at 10 o'clock a.m. aged about 29 years.

The deceased was formerly in business in this city and was a brother of our fellow townsman, Frank, of the firm of Roche & Hayden. He was well known here and was held in high esteem by all who knew him. The Sun joins his many friends in extending sympathy. - Elma Sun. John Hayden (Jack Top) was well known to the readers of the TRIBUNE, all of whom will join The Sun in extending sympathy to his relatives. Mr. Hayden was a man of more than ordinary ability and always a faithful friend.
