Ohm Rites to be this Afternoon

Funeral services will be held this afternoon (Thursday) at 2 o'clock, for Ervin R Ohm, 46. The Rev John M Rohde will officiate at the services which will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church. Mrs Norbert Stolz, organist, will play "In The Cross of Christ I Glory" and "Jesus Savior, Pilot Me". Casket bearers will be Paul Hartson, Roger Laydon, Leonard Carlin, Oliver Cochran, Graham Morrison and Francis Carmody.

Interment will be in the New Hampton Cemetery and the Perry-Conway Funeral Service is in charge of the arrangements.

Mr Ohm died at his home at 7am on Monday, February 16, of an apparent heart attack.

Ervin Ohm was born January 15, 1924, at Lawler, the son of Albert and Anna (Kathner) Ohm. He received his education at the Lawler Public and County schools and was a veteran of World War II, serving in the US Army.

On August 16, 1944, he was married to Elaine O'Connor at New Hampton, where they made their home. He was a carpenter by trade and a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.

He is survived by his mother, his wife, three daughters, Mrs Terry (Marilyn) Noble of Winter Park, Fla, Mrs Michael (Nancy) Pint of Charles City and Joyce at home, two grandchildren and four brothers, Harry and Clifford, both of Lawler and Robert and Clarence, both of New Hampton.

He was preceded in death by his father.
