Died - At his home near Boyd last Saturday at 2pm Carl Meir, aged 52 years. He was an old and highly respected citizen of that part of the county and had many friends. He had been in poor health during the summer but the end was not expected so soon.

The remains were interred in the Boyd cemetery, Rev. Tecklenberg of the Lutheran Church, conducting the services.
