Sunday evening, April 17, 1910, at 6:30 occurred the death of F.M. Pankonin at his home near Boyd.

Frederick Martin Pankonin was born Nov. 1, 1831 at Waushoff, West Prussia. He remained at home working for his father until he was twenty years of age. He then learned the carpenter trade and worked at the trade about thirty years.

On April 17, 1860 he was married to Miss Augusta Benz. They came to his county in 1892 and resided near Boyd since. Seven children were born to them, two dying in infancy. Those who survive him are his wife, two daughters, Mrs Henry Ketner and Mrs Albert Drewelow of Boyd, three sons, Fred of this city; August, at home and Charles of St Paul.

The funeral was held today from the Lutheran church at Boyd Rev G. Fritchel of this city conducting the services. Interment in the adjoining cemetery.
