Mrs. Bauer is Suddenly Taken
Cherokee Woman Dies Suddenly At Home Monday Afternoon; Funeral Wednesday

Anna E Bauer, wife of F. M. Bauer of Cherokee, died very suddenly Monday night at her home. Her age was 54 years and six months. The funeral services were held yesterday morning at Immaculate Conception church, interment being made in Mary Hill cemetery.

The death of this good woman was due to a sudden stroke at ten minutes after twelve Monday. At twenty minutes to six she had passed away. It was a severe shock to the relatives and friends.
Mrs. Anna E. Bauer, nee Rupp, was born at Potosi, Wis., April 10, 1868. She lived there until the time of her marriage in Cherokee February 7th, 1893, when she became the wife of Fred M. Bauer, of Sheridan township.

A year ago, last June the family moved to Cherokee. Four children survive the mother, they being Mrs. Theodore Heinen of Cherokee, and Sylvester, Louis and Elsie, at home. A daughter, Minnie, is deceased. There is also a baby granddaughter, Helen Heinen. Brothers and sisters surviving Mrs. Bauer are Ben and Peter Rupp of Potosi, Wis.; Mrs. William Glassmaker of Cassville, Wis., and John, Anton and Frank Rupp of Cherokee. Three sisters have died.

The bereaved relatives have the sympathy of all.
