Lillian Klopp services today
LE MARS – Services for Lillian A. Klopp, 76, Le Mars, formerly of Cherokee, will be today in Grace Lutheran Church here. The Rev. H. H. Schauland will officiate. Graveside services will be Thursday in New Britain, Conn. The Mauer-Johnson Funeral Home of Le Mars is in charge of arrangements.

Lillian Reckert was born March 28, 1908 at New Britain. She married the Rev. Kurt E. Klopp Aug. 1, 1931 at New Britain. They lived in New Britain; Austin, Texas; Konsberg, N.D.; Havre, Mont.; Cherokee; Minneapolis and Le Mars. Mr. Klopp died in 1961

Mrs. Klopp was a legal secretary and a member of the Lutheran Layman’s League, National Association of Legal Secretaries, National Federation of Business and Professional Women and Grace Lutheran Church.

Survivors include one son, Ted Klopp, Le Mars; one daughter, Mrs. John (Lillian) Olson, Minneapolis; four brothers, Arnold Reckert, Kensington, Conn., Walter Reckert, Plainview, Conn., Howard Reckert, Ellington, Conn. And Richard Reckert, Merien, Conn.; one sister Mrs. Fran (Lucy) Powers, Hartford, Conn. and six grandchildren.
