Michael M. Kneen, 44, died Sunday, June 3, in the Lakes Region Hospital in Fergus Falls, Minn., due to an apparent stroke. He had been visiting his parents in Fergus Falls.

Funeral services will be Thursday from the Grace Baptist Church. Burial will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery. The Boothby Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.

He was born June 21, 1945, in Cherokee. He graduated from Washington High School in 1963 and attended Buena Vista College in Storm Lake for two years. He worked for the Internal Revenue service in Des Moines for 15 years. When his health failed, he returned to school, graduating with a bachelor of science degree in 1985. He then attended the North American Baptist Seminary in Sioux Falls, S. D.

Survivors include his parents, Shelby and Ruby Kneen, Cherokee; one brother Terry of Springfield, Ore., and one sister, Nancy of Kearney, Neb.
