Mrs. A. B. (Bess) Lindsay, 80, 435 Gillease, Cherokee, died July13 at Sioux Valley Memorial Hospital. She was born Jan. 20, 1892 at Aurelia. She was married to A. B. Lindsay Jan 10, 1917 at Aurelia where the couple operated a livestock farm for many years before retiring in 1956 and moving to Cherokee.

Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Mrs. Richard Ortmeyer of Hong Kong; four grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at the Wharton Funeral Home in Aurelia. Rev. Robert Noblitt, pastor of Mount Olie Baptist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery at Aurelia.

The family requests that memorials be given to the International Division of the Y.M.C.A.
