Funeral services for Mrs. Amanda A. Pfalzgraf, 90, of Cherokee, were at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Cherokee. She died Saturday, Dec. 20, 1986, at Sunset Knoll Retirement Home in Aurelia after a brief illness.

The Rev. Delmar Carlson officiated, with burial in Holstein Cemetery under the direction of Greenwood Funeral Home of Cherokee.

Mrs. Pfalzgraf, the former Amanda A. Sorensen, was born Dec. 18, 1896, in Holstein. She married Charles Pfalzgraf Sr. on July 31, 1915, at St. Anthony, Idaho. The couple farmed north of Holstein until retiring and moving to Cherokee in 1952. Mr. Pfalzgraf died in 1973. She entered Sunset Knoll Retirement Home in 1982. She was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church.

Survivors include: three daughters, Mrs. Gladys Keller of Mesa, Ariz., Mrs. James (Mildred) Lindsay of Nevada City, Calif. And Mrs. Egon (Shirley) Hanson of Aurelia; two sons, Virgil of Holstein and LaVere of Minneapolis, Minn.; three sisters, Mrs. Hilda Friedrichsen, Mrs. Agnes Stamp and Mrs. Bill (Helen) Goettsch, all of Holstein; 19 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
