Rowena Anderson, 89, Moscow
Services for Rowena (Chapman) Anderson, 89, formerly of Cherokee County, were held Saturday at Moscow. Mrs. Anderson died March 9.

She was born March 18, 1898, near Spencer to A.C. Martin and Nellie Chapman. They then moved to the Sutherland area. Prior to her marriage to Sam Anderson in 1918, she had trained as a nurse in Sioux Valley Hospital. They moved to Idaho in 1938.

She was preceded in death by her husband and two sons, Russell and Ray.

She is survived by a son, Donald Anderson of Mosco; two daughters, Marjorie Downing, Seattle, Wash. and Nadine Watson, Sandpoint, Idaho; two brothers, Harry Chapman, Cherokee and Vere Chapman, Meriden, and two sisters, Doris Lindstrom and Nellie Henderson, both of Tracy, Minnesota.
