Glenn C. Cline, 91, of Cherokee died Sunday in Sioux Valley Memorial Hospital after a two-week illness.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Trinity Lutheran Church in Cherokee. Pastor Lowell Koch will officiate. Burial will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery under the direction of the Boothby Funeral Home.

Mr. Cline was born June 11, 1891, at Quimby.

He married Phoebe Pitts Feb 16, 1915, in Minnesota. He farmed in Minnesota and the Cherokee area until 1923. He then worked for By-Grade Packing Co. in Storm Lake until retiring in 1964. He was well known for his apple sales each fall. Mrs. Cline died May 29, 1965, and he entered the Hilltop Manor Nursing Home two years ago.

He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.

Survivors include five sons, Clarence of Glendale, Ariz., Raymond of Alberta, Minn., Kenneth of Morris, Minn., Robert and Dale, both of Cherokee; five daughters, Mrs. Melvern (Delores) Conley of Minneapolis, Mrs. Martin (Dorothy) Seel of Marcus, Mrs. Gerald (Norma Dean) Stanfill of Taylorville, Ill., Mrs. James (Helen) Bartlett and Mrs. Lloyd (Glenda) Heithus, both of Cherokee; one half-brother, Floyd Peck of Fort Dodge; one half-sister, Mrs. Fern Rassell of Marcus; 56 grandchildren, 93 great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter.
