PINE MOUNTAIN LAKE, Calif. - Joan Ware, 72, a ten year resident of Pine Mountain Lake, Calif., died at Doctor's Medical Center in Modesto, Calif. on May 16 after a short illness.

A native of Iowa, she and her husband, Earl, moved to Orange County California in 1969 and resided there until 1981.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl, and son, James Mueller.

She is survived by her daughter, Gretchen Mummert of Dallas, Texas; a daughter-in-law, Dolores Mueller of Palos Verdes, Calif.; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

A memorial service was held in Groveland, Calif.
