Services for Prentiss (Pete) Waddell, 74, of Titusville, Fla., formerly of Cherokee, were Friday in Titusville with burial in Florida.

He died Monday Sept. 26, following a lengthy illness.

Waddell was born Sept. 26, 1914, in Cherokee where he also attended school. He was a barber by trade and operated a shop in Titusville.

He is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and one sister.

Survivors include his wife, Charlotte; four daughters, Mrs. Boyd (Peggy) Grashoff, Aurelia; Sharon Blasdell, Titusville; Lura Phelan, Rockford, Ill.; and Lucile Kelsey, San Marcos, Calif.; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
