Blanche Wayman, 81, died Sunday at the Country Side Estates following an eight month illness.

Services will be 2 p.m. today at the Boothby Funeral Home. Don Hensley will officiate. Burial will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery.

Blanche Phelan was born April 15, 1906 in Cherokee. She married Golden Wayman on Sept. 26, 1923, in Cherokee. She had been a resident of Cherokee all her life.

She worked for Ryden Cleaners and Panitorium Cleaners, both in Cherokee. She was a member of the First Church of Christ.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Harold (Bonnie) Selk, of Dickens, and one grand-daughter.

She was preceded in death by her husband on Nov. 20, 1967, six brothers and three sisters.
