Services Held for Mrs. J. Wachtler
Jennie Hazel Sanborn Wachtler, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank D. Sanborn, born Oct. 2, 1895 on a farm in Cherokee County, died May 19 at the Community Hospital, Fresno, Calif.

Funeral services were held May 22 in Fresno, Calif.

She was united in marriage on May 6, 1922 to Ray Wachtler. To this union, one son, Robert was born. Mrs. Wachtler taught school for several years before the family moved to California.

She and her husband farmed in this vicinity and at one time were in partnership with Carnahan in the grocery business in Cherokee.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, her son and one brother.

Survivors are a daughter-in-law, Ruth of Fresno, four sisters, Leta Blizzard of Fresno; Carrie Lewis of Storm Lake, Ruby Lane and Ruth Stivers of Chereokee and a host of nieces and nephews.
