Dr. Estella A. Wise, 82, a longtime Cherokee resident, died Saturday at 11:15 am at Gordon Memorial Hospital, Sioux City, following a brief illness. Her home was at 310 South Second. She practiced here as an osteopathic physician.

She was born Jan 10, 1885 at Crescent, Ia.

Preceding her in death were her parents, four brothers and four sisters.

Survivors include a sister, Miss Josephine Wise of Aurelia, several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Tuesday at 2 pm from Boothby Funeral Home, Phil Gardner, Minister of First Church of Christ, is to officiate. Burial is to be in Oak Hill Cemetery.
