Golden Wayman, 67, died at 5:45 pm Monday in Cherokee following a year's illness. A life-long resident, he was born in Cherokee on Feb 13, 1900 and was married to Blanche Phelan here on Sept 26, 1923.

A concrete mason, he retired in 1958. He was a member of First Church of Christ.

Surviving are the widow, Blanche, Cherokee; a daughter, Mrs. Harold Selk, Cherokee; a granddaughter, Linda Sue. Three sisters, Mrs. William Moses of Spirit Lake; Mrs. Grace Bransetter, Casper, Wyo., Mrs. Lyle Samsel, Cherokee, and two brothers Dewey Wayman of Oxnard, Calif., and Deward (Mike) Wayman of Fresno, Calif., and his father, J. E. Wayman, Cherokee, are other survivors.

Funeral services will be at 2 pm Wednesday from Boothby Funeral Home. Phil Gardner, minister of First Church of Christ, is to officiate and burial is to be in Oak Hill Cemetery.
