Gladys Rohlfsen, 73, Cleghorn

Mrs. Herbert (Gladys) Rohlfsen, 73, of Cleghorn, died Friday, Jan. 3,1992 at 1:25 p.m. in the Sioux Valley Memorial Hospital following a three-month illness. Funeral services were held Monday, Jan. 6,1992 at 10:36 a.m. from the Cleghorn Presbyterian Church. Rev. Ann Rouse officiated. Burial was in the Oak Hill Cemetery at Cherokee. Boothby Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

She was born Dec. 29,1918 in Cherokee to Earl and Ethel Dunn Hunter. She was married to Arthur Mahn on July 20, 1939. She was later married to Herbert Rohlfsen on Dec. 12. 1960 at Nashua. She had lived in Cleghorn the-past 11 years, prior to this on a farm north of Marcus. She was affiliated with the Cleghorn Presbyterian Church, was a former Sunday School teacher and was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her step-father, Clifford Conley, a sister, Dorothy Lambert, and a brother, Kenneth Hunter. She is survived by her husband, Herbert; one daughter, Caroline Mahn of Cleghorn; one son, Donald Mahn of Limon, Colo.; and two grandchildren, Debra and David Mahn; two great-grandchildren; and one rother, Harold Hunter of Newton.
