ANOTHER OLD SETTLER GONE - William H. Dyer died at his home in this city yesterday afternoon, aged 64 years, of Bright's Disease.
Mr. Dyer was born in Niles, Mich. in 1840. At the age of 24, he came to Iowa and five years later was married to Mary C. Stahl of Webster county. In the fall of 1872 he came to Cherokee where he has since resided. He leaves a wife and seven children, four sons and three daughters to mourn his death.
During his long sickness of nearly a year, he was a patient sufferer and when death finally came it took from the assembled family a kind husband and father. The funeral will be held at the Christian church, tomorrow, Wednesday, at 2 P.M.
