Mrs, Sarah A. Fee, 90, died Friday at 11:40 am in Cherokee after a short illness. Her home was at 323 East Cedar Street. She had lived in Cherokee since 1958.
Formerly she had lived on a farm in Rock Township for 61 years. Born Nov 19, 1875 at Earlville, Ill., she was married to Robert N Fee on Dec 22, 1897 at Norway, Ia.
Mrs. Fee was a member of the Memorial Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by three daughters Mrs. Edna Larsen of Woodburn, Ore., Mrs. Mary Vorpahl, Lincoln, Neb., and Mrs. Esther Lamoreux, Cherokee; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. One brother, Alfred Lee of Norway, Ia., also survives.
Preceding her in death were her husband, Robert in 1935, an a son Clarence in 1963, a brother and two sisters.
Funeral services will be Monday at 2 pm from Memorial Presbyterian Church with Rev. A. E. Goldhorn officiating. Burial is to be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Boothby Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
