James L. Hill died at his home in Afton township, Thursday, March 7, 1889, aged 47 years. Mr. Hill and family were formerly residents of Illinois and occupied a rented farm in Afton. The deceased died in rather poor circumstances and leaves a wife and six children dependent of their own resources. The neighbors have so far done all that is necessary to their comfort, but aid of some sort must be furnished them soon.
