OBITUARY
Mrs. Alice A. Williams died at her home, Meriden, Iowa, Feb. 10th, 1890.
Alice A. Clyma was born June 25, 1841 in the town of Monticello, LaFayette county, Wisconsin, and was at the time of her death 48 years, 7 months old. She was married to Edward Williams February 19, 1866. They lived in Wisconsin until April, 1881, when they came to Meriden, Iowa, where they have sine lived. Mrs. Williams has suffered with exhausted bronchitis for several years; her last illness, though quite severe, caused not one complaining or murmuring word from her, but she was ever thoughtful of the comfort of family and friends. She was loved and respected by all who knew her. Perfectly conscience to the last she calmly trusted her Redeemer and patiently awaited her time to go. Such has been her life that we need not the added testimony of dying words to convince us of her readiness for a home in heaven. Calmly she bade husband, children, nephews and nieces all adieu and with parting words for absent ones and a hope and prayer that they all meet her in heaven she quietly and sweetly passed away. She leaves a husband, three sons, two daughters, two brothers, and other relatives besides numerous friends to mourn her loss.
