Ann M. Ducommun, 58, of Storm Lake Ia. died Tues. Aug 29th, 2003 at her residence. Graveside services were held in Afton Township Cemetery,Cherokee. Arrangements were under the direction of Sliefert-Asmus Funeral Home in Storm Lake Ia.

Ann Marie Ducommun was born Nov. 18, 1944, in Cherokee. She was born to Clair and Marjory (Ware)Ducommun. She was baptized and confirmed at St. John United Church Of Christ in Peterson. She graduated from Sioux Valley High School in 1962. She recieved her LPN degree from Clarinda School of Practical Nursing. She recieved her RN degree from St. Joseph School Of Nursing in Sioux City.

On Feb., 14 1995 she was united in marriage to George Hueschen of Storm Lake, Ia. They made their home in Storm Lake, where she loved to garden and grew the most beautiful flowers. She found great pleasure in watching sunrises and sunsets on the lake and the outdoors was important to her. She also enjoyed collecting owls, reading and doing for others, She will be greatly missed by her family and many friends who loved her.

She is survived by her Husband , Geaoge; her father Clair of Storm Lake; Two brothers, Forest and his wife Janet and Don Ducommun, all of Neosho, Mo; a sister, Julie Ducommun and her special friend, Ron Holmbergm of Sioux City; A sister-inlaw, Robin Ducommun of Roanoke Va. 8 nieces and nephews, Shane Ducommun and his wife, Shin Jung, Lisa McGrath and her husband Jim; Angela, Travis, Boone, Roni Jean. Marjory, and Bobby Ducommun, and honorary children; Kristina, Carrie, and Jeff Stief.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Marjory; and a brother, Ron Ducommun.
