John D. Lynch,70, of Tempe, Arizona died July 18, 1993, at Tempe,Arizona. He was born in Eau Claire, Wisconsin on Nov. 27,1922 to Walter D. and Edna Blake Lynch. He had served in the Merchant Marines, had managed a finance office in Phoenix and retired from Arizona State University, where he was a maintenance engineer.
He is survived by his wife, Anita, daughters Karen Marie Scholl and Margaret D. Bennett, sons, Martin D.and Lawrence M;one sister,Betty, and her husband Herbert Hesch.
Services were July 23, 1993, from Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church with Rev. Tim Davern officiating.
Graveside Military Services were held at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, Phoenix.
