Death of J. H. Groves.

Cherokee - Joe H. Groves, well known cattle raiser and rancher, died at the home of his son-in-law, Niel Bushlow, in Pilot township, March 3, aged 71 years. The immediate cause of death was a stroke of paralysis, following a serious condition for a number of months from stomach trouble. Mr. Groves was one of the two or three pioneers in the business of cattle raising and feeding in htis county. Coming to Cherokee county in an early day, he settled on a large farm in Pilot township and devoted his large energies to the successful raising and feeding of cattle.
