SCHLESWI,Iowa — Mildred Darlene Neubauer, 70, of Schleswig died Friday at her residence.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Schleswig. Burial will be in Morgan Cemetery. Visitation will be after 3 p.m. Sunday at Huebner Funeral Home in Schleswig.

Mrs. Neubauer was born Dec. 10, 1929, near Buck Grove, Iowa, the daughter of Willie and Johanna (Weller) Nulle. She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith. She attended Washington Township School and Denison (Iowa) High School. She worked for Cronk's and the Spot in Denison.

She married Leon Neubauer on June 10, 1949, in Denison. In 1951, they moved to a farm near Ida Grove, Iowa, where they farmed until moving to Schleswig in 1985.

She belonged to Immanuel Lutheran Church and Ladies Aid. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, sewing and playing cards.

Survivors include her husband; three daughters, Janet Neubauer of Des Moines, Lila and her husband, Tim Bubke of Schleswig and Nola and her husband, Matthew Wingren of Rochester, Minn.; a son and his wife, Kevin and Tammy of Ida Grove; and 10 grandchildren, Melissa, Jason and Kyle Bubke, Allison, Amanda, Andrew and Audrey Wingren, Natasha, Seth and Shelby Neubauer.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three siblings in infancy; and two half sisters, Edna Bandow and Margaret Hollander.
