MARCUS, Iowa — Robert Dean Wallin, 48, of Council Bluffs, Iowa, died Saturday, Aug. 19, 2000 at his residence.

Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery in rural Marcus, with the Rev. James Gruber Officiating. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. today at Earnest and Roethler Funeral Chapel in Marcus.

Mr. Wallin was born June 16, 1942, in Le Mars, Iowa, the son of Merle R. and Delma (Blietz) Wallin. He grew up in the Marcus area and attended Marcus High School. After graduation he moved to Council Bluffs where he resided at the time of his death.

Survivors include three brothers, Gary Wallin of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and Richard Wallin and his wife, Anita, also of Cedar Rapids, and Rodney Wallin of Council Bluffs; a sister, Sandra Wallin of Denver, Colo.; and an aunt, Arlene Rubrink of Topeka, Kan.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Debbie and a sister-in-law, Margaret.
