EDWIN .WISMER- . - -
Edwin A. Wismer was' born at 'Germantown.
Pa.. Oct. 31. 1841. and died at Worthington.
Minn., at the home of his oldest
daughter. Mrs. J. H. Luther. F«T>. 24. 1931.
at the -age of S9 years, four months and
24 days.
Mr. Wismer was united in marriage to
Miss Ellen Thompson at Bristol. Va.. on
Nov. IS. 1875. To this union were born
four daughters: Charlotte. Annie. Kate
and Ella. Kate died in infancy and Annie,
who was married to Mrs. Stewart
Turner, died in 1916.
Mr. Wismer and his family moved from
Pennsylvania to Peterson, Iowa, in 18S1.
whero they resided until IS92 when they
moved to Cherokee where he spent the major
part of his life as a gardener
His wife, died in IS99 and since then
Mr Wismer has made his home with his
two daughters. Mrs. Frank Turner of
Cherokee and Mrs. J. W Luther. Worthington,
Minn, where he passed away on
I'eb. 21. 1931
He leaves to mourn his loss, two daughters.

Turner and their families, of whom there
are 13 grandchildren and two great grandchildren
One sister. Mrs. Amanda Thudium.
Maiden, Mass., survives.
The funeral service was held at the home
of Mr and Mrs. Frank Turner, southeast
of Cherokee, Thursday at 1 30 p. m.. Rev
K. H. Coonradt officiating, and interment
was made in the Oak Hill cemetery
