(Thomas) Howard Ogle, Early Afton Settler Dead

Howard Ogle for fifty years a resident of Afton township, passed away at his home six miles northwest of Aurelia Wednesday morning at 8:30 o'clock. He was 52 years old and had lived on the farm where his death took place the past 14 years. He has been a prominent figure in all of the activities of that community and was a good neighbor and citizen. He is survived by his wife and one daughter, Mrs. Blacksley** of Spencer.

Funeral services will be conducted at the home Friday afternoon with Rev. G.R. Gilbert in charge and burial will be made in the Afton cemetery.
