Velma Anne Ogle was born at Beaver Dam, Wisconsin April 27, 1863. She passed away at Stratton, Colorado, April 26, 1935.

Mrs. Ogle, daughter of William Loft and Ellen Goulding Loft, came with her parents to Cherokee, Iowa, from Wisconsin in 1873. She was united in marriage to Francis Marion Ogle February 6, 1887. To this union were born ten children, three of whom preceded their mother in death.

With her family Mrs. Ogle moved to Newton, Kansas, in 1908, and resided there until 1921, when they moved to Greeley, Colorado. After the death there of Mr. Ogle in 1922, she had made her home with her children in Colorado and Oregon.

At the time of her death, Mrs. Ogle was living with her son, Emmet, at Stratton, Colorado. Other surviving children are Wm. Herman of Wyoming; Mrs. Rose Stevens of Oregon; Colvin J. of Washington; Alice of Illinois; Ernest and Mrs. K.J. Elliott of Colorado.

Burial is in Afton Township Cemetery.
