William Moses Sr.

William Alvin Moses Sr., 90, died Sunday, 18 August at 4:40 p.m. in Cherokee after an illness for 5 years. His home was at 317 East Willow Street. He had lived in Cherokee for the past 38 years. He retired 10 years ago from the shoe repair business.
Surviving him are his wife, Emma; 2 sons; William Moses Jr. & Wayne Moses, both of Fort Dodge; 5 daughters; Mrs. Camiel Dabbelaere of East Moline, IL.; Mrs. Lawrence Henderson of Paullina; Mrs. Elmer Reusch of Calumet; Miss Mary Moses of Cherokee; Mrs. Lewis Nelson of Aurelia. Other survivors are 27 grandchildren; 39 great grandchildren; & 1 great great grandchild; 2 brothers, Marion Moses of Fulton, Neb. & Allen of Middletown, PA.; & 1 sister, Mrs. Gertrude Cox of Grand Island, Neb. also survive.
Funeral services are to be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, 20 August, from Boothby Funeral Home. The Rev. Homer Dobson, Christian minister of Tracy, Minn., will officiate. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.
