Mrs. Ermal Henderson, 74, died at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Sioux Valley Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. She had lived in Cherokee & O'Brien counties most of her life. She had made her home at 503 Sumner with her mother & sister.
Born on 27 Apr. 1897, Oto, she married Carl Reusch on 14 Jan. 1920. He died 14 July 1948. She married Lawrence Henderson on 25 June 1951.
Survivors are 3 daughters; Mrs. Glen Goodwin of Spencer, Mrs. Robert Alger Jr. of Milford, & Mrs. Loren Leeds of Kansas City, MO.; 5 sons; Floyd of Newburgh, IN.; Carl & Dale of Orange City; Harold of Kansas City, MO.;& Darrell of Cherokee; 5 step sons; Louis Henderson of Albert Lea, MN.; Francis of Red Oak; Wilson of Price, UT.; Joe of Park Rapids, MN.; & Merritt of Managa, MN.; 3 step daughters; Beatrice, Minneapolis, MN.; Opal of Pacific Grove, CA.; & Louise of Amery, WI; 27 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; her mother, Mrs. Emma Moses of Cherokee; 4 sisters; Mary Moses of Cherokee; Mrs. Ilene Nelson of Davenport; Mrs. Elsie Dabbelaere of East Moine, IL; & Alice Reusch of Greenville; & 2 brothers; Bill Moses of Spirit Lake & Wayne Moses of Fort Dodge.
Receding her in death were her father, her husband, Lawrence on 15 May 1961, & 1 sister.
Services were held at 2 p.m. Monday at Grace Baptist Church in Cherokee with Pastor Albert Pearson & Pastor Francis Henderson officiating. Burial was in O'Brien-Liberty Cemetery at Calumet.
Boothby Funeral Home was in charge.
