The people of this community were grieved to hear last Sunday that Frank Yule was dead. He had been in feeble health for nearly a year past. It was believed by many that he had consumption, but the physicians who had examined into his case were of the opinion that it was some other disease, or a complication of diseases.
In spite of all that could be done for him he continued to grow worse. Just two weeks ago today he left for the home of his father in Cedar county. The journey fatigued him greatly, and when he arrived at the point for which he started he appeared to be exhausted. He grew weaker from day to day, and one last Friday he expired. Six months ago a brother of the deceased was buried at this place, the outward manifestations of the disease in both cases being very similiar. Frank and Mont Yule were deservedly popular in the community in which they lived. The were honorable, upright men, correct in their deportment before the world, and lived clean and honest lives. The deceased leaves a young wife and child for whom every heart in the community beat with sympathy. The aged father, who has been called upon to mourn the loss of two sons within such a short space of time, also has the heartfelt sympathy of the community. (Aurelia Sentinel, 2-10-1887)
