It becomes our painful duty to announce the death of Jeannettie, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. Daniels. She was five years old and died Monday morning after an illness of but a few days. The sudden taking away of this their only daughter falls with crushing force upon the parents, and the community extends to them its deepest sympathy. Jeannettie was an uncommonly interesting child, kind and loving in disposition, and wise beyond her years. The death brought sorrow to many more hearts than those of the family circle from which she has been removed. The funeral discourse was delivered by Mr. Walllace Wednesday afternoon, and the remains were followed to the grave by a long procession of neighbors and friends. (Aurelia Sentinel, 1-13-1887)
