The community was pained to hear last Tuesday that death has entered the home of Mr. and Mrs. John Gilman the night before and taken their youngest child. Louie, who was about two years old, had been slightly ailing for several days, but the family had no reason to believe it was anything serious. Monday night a change occurred for the worst, and a messenger was sent for the doctor. Before the physician arrived the little patient went into convulsions and those were repeated at short intervals until death came to it relief. The parents who have been so suddenly bereft of the darling of their household have the heartfelt sympathy of all in their bereavement. (Aurelia Sentinel, 12-2-1886)
