From there she moved to Carroll, Illinois and lived until 1877, when she moved to Cherokee county, Iowa and remained until the time of her death. She was married at Shannon, Illinois, to Thomas Parker of England, in 1855, with whom she lived until the end. She was a mother of four sons, one of whom died in infancy. The three others, T. During the early portion of her married life she was converted and became a member of the Brethren church of which she has always been an active member.
Funeral services were held at the home and at the Brethren church on Thursday, and the remains laid to rest in Pleasant Hill cemetery. (Aurelia Sentinel, 1-31-1913)
