Funeral services for Vicky Kinne, 59, were held on December 4 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Jefferson, Iowa, with burial following in the Dawson Cemetery, west of Paton. Brown Funeral Home of Jefferson was in charge of funeral arrangements.

Vicky was the daughter of Cedric and Marjorie (Wright) Ega, and was born July 24, 1949 in Cherokee. She graduated from the Willow Community School in 1967, and later attended St. Joseph School of Nursing in Sioux City, graduating in 1970. She was a caring nurse at the Greene County Medical Center in Jefferson for 35 years.

Vicky was married Aug. 16, 1970 to Duwayne Kinne at Cherokee, and to that union were born four children; Kristi (Jonathon) Hayes of Cincinnati, Ohio., Kyle (Amanda) Kinne of Jefferson, Samantha (Brian) McClain of Fort Dodge and Reed Kinne of Des Moines. Also surviving are two sisters, Wanne (Bernie) Larson and Ramona (Don) Farber; eight grandchildren; two nieces; three nephews and her mother-in-law, Margaret Kinne.

Memorials may be sent to Trinity Lutheran Church in Jefferson.
