Lorenz R. Koth. 83, Aurelia died Sunday evening at Sioux Valley Memorial Hospital in Cherokee.

Funeral services are 10:30 a.m. Thurs. at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Aurelia with Rev David Renfro officiating.

Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery , Aurelia. Wharton-Redig Funeral Home officiated.

He was born to Carl and Anna (Bedke) Koth Nov, 21,1907 at Galva. He married Hilda Peckenschneider Feb. 5, 1931 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Aurelia.

He was employed as an electrician and a farmer. He was very active in St. Paul Lutheran Church.

He is survived by 1 son, Merlin and his wife of Warner Robbins Ga.; 1 daughter Karen and her husband Gerald Van Hooser of Rochester, Minn. 5 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild; 1 half brother, Quintus Koth of Hayward Calif.; 2 half sisters, Vivian Koth of Des Moines and Lois McConkey of Alta.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his step Mother, Anna ( Killers)Koth. and an infant sister.
