Mrs. Sarah K. Wessman died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. P.J. Anderson, in Plymouth county, Monday evening, March 16, 1903, at the age of 80 years, 3 months and 23 days. The deceased was born in Sweden November 21, 1822, and came to the United States in 1873. Her husband passed to the Great Beyond eight years ago. She was the mother of eight children, five of which survive her. They are two daughters in Sweden; Axel and Clause Wessman, of Marathon, IA and Mrs. P. J. Anderson of this place, where she made her home for a number of years. She was able to be around until last October since which she has been bedfast most of the time.

Mrs. Wessman was a true and faithful follower of God's work. The remains were interred in the Marcus cemetery Thursday, March 19, beside those of her husband.
