Funeral services for Mrs. Ralph (Marianne)Mongan, 62 were held Sat. morning at 11:00 a.m. , at the Congregational United Church Of Christ , with the Rev. Gunner Wikstrom officiating.
Marianne passed away unexpectedly at her home Thurs. morning, May 11.
Burial with Wharton Funeral Home in charge of arrangements was in Pleasant Hill cemetery. Casket bearers were Virgil Larson, Gaylen Miller, Duane Buttennob. Melvin Johnson, Orlyn Webb and Darrell Curry.
The former Marianne Chandler was born Feb. 10, 1916 at St. Paul MN. she graduated from Aurelia High School in 1934. On Nov. 3rd 1935 she was united in marriage with Ralph Mongan in Aurelia.
In addition to her husband , she is survived by a son, Gary, of Camp Lejune, VA; a daughter, Mrs. Robert (Gail) Miller of Aurelia; 8 grandchildren, and 2 sisters, Mrs. Florence Smith of Denver Col.and Mrs. Emil (Frances) Banfet of Council Bluffs.
