Judy Law, 53, of Cherokee died Sunday, Feb. 4, 2007, at a Sioux City hospital following a brief illness.

Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Greenwood Funeral Home in Cherokee, with Gregg Johnson officiating. Cremation will follow the service Thursday. Visitation will be noon to 8 p.m. Wednesday, with the family present 6:30 to 8 p.m., at the funeral home. Condolences may be sent online to www.greenwoodfuneral.com.

Judy was born Dec. 30, 1953, in Cherokee, to Vernon and Mildred (Ferris) Bainbridge. She was educated in Marcus, Iowa, graduating from Marcus High School in 1972. She worked for Sears Inc., Hogan's Sporting Goods and later at Hamilton Law Firm in Storm Lake, Iowa, for many years. She also attended and graduated from Western Iowa Tech Community College in 1987.

On July 26, 1997, she married Rick Law in Cherokee.

Survivors include her husband; daughters and their husbands, Karrie and Mike Marlow of Sioux City, Kimberlee and Matt Niemeier of Sioux City, Tina and Ben Fox of Overland Park, Kan., and Kristin and Todd Brown of Cleghorn, Iowa; a son and his wife, Josh and Jessica Law of Greenwood, Mo.; her parents, Vernon and Mildred Bainbridge of Cherokee; brothers and their wives, Rodney and Priscilla Bainbridge of Cherokee and Roger and Bonnie Bainbridge of Cherokee; a sister and her husband, Beth and Tom Mote of St. Louis, Mo.; and grandchildren, Taylor and Caleb Niemeier, Liberty Marlow, Avary Law and Collin and Sylvia Brown.
