Mrs. Charles ( Delia) Schulke passed away Fri. , Aug. 8, at Sunset Knoll Retirement Home in Aurelia Ia. She had been in poor health for some time. Funeral services were held from the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Aurelia Tues. at 11:00 a.m., with Pastor David Oswald officiating . Buriel was in Pleasnat Hill Cemetery , Rural Aurelia. Her grandsons served as casket bearers.

The former Delia Paulson was born in Aurelia Jan. 6, 1900. She was united in marriage to Charles Schulke at Cherokee , Dec. 15, 1921. They farmed in the Aurelia Area until retiring in 1964 to Aurelia.

Mrs. Schulke is surived by her husband ; 8 sons; Gordon of Brainerd, Minn.; Kenneth of La Grange, Ill.; Carlton and Neil of Aurelia; James of Spreckels Calif. Douglas of Ida Grove, Ia.; Byron of Ames. Ia.and Dana of Garner Ia. 2 daughters, Mrs. Tom (Nadine) Pettis of Mt. Holly S.C. and Mrs. Richard (Janice) of Council Bluffs, Ia. 30 Grandchildren and 5 gret-grandchildren.
