Funeral services for Mrs. Theodore (Edna Wilhelmina Sofia Louisa ) Schulke were held at the Kroll Funeral Home in Storm Lake and in St Paul Lutheran Church in Aurelia, May 23 . 1947 Interment was in the Hanover Cemetery, Rev. Joel Ross officiated.

Pallbearers were ; August and Albert Fett, Carl and Ed. Grieme, Rudolph Ewoldt and Frank Huseman.

Edna , daughter of William Lenhardt and his wife Louise (Mehlhop) was born May 1, 1892, near Storm Lake. Shortly after they moved to a farm Near Hanover, She attended school at St. Johns Lutheran School. After high school she attended Highland Park College in Des Moines.

On Mar. 28, 1917 she married Theodore Schulke at Galva Ia. This union was blessed with 2 sons, Leonard and Vernon. They lived in S.D. for a short time then settled on a farm near Hanover.

At the time of her death she had reached the age of 55. She was preceeded in death by her husband in 1940 and her son Leonard in 1944.
She had always been a member of the Lutheran Church

Left to mourn her death are her son, Vernon and his wife Marjorie of Cherokee; a sister Mrs. Albert Moschell of Alta; a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Arlin Lehnhardt and her 2 children; 2 half brothers, August Grieme of S.D. and Albert Grieme of Washington; one step sister Mrs. Fred Schultz of New Ulm Minn. 3 step-brothers, Henry Grieme, White S.D.; Will Grieme, Rapid City S.D. and Herman Grieme. Brookoings, S.D.
