Neil O. Schulke, 56, of Aurelia was found dead of natural causes at his home in Aurelia on Tuesday.

Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Aurelia. The Rev. David Oswald will officiate with buriel in Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Aurelia. Wharton Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Neil was born Feb. 7, 1931 in Pitcher Twp. Cherokee County. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War after which he farmed in the Aurelia area.

He is preceded in seath by his parents, Charles and Delia (Paulson) Schulke and an infant
brother.

He is survived by 7 brothers and 2 sisters. They are Gordon Schulke of Brainerd, Minn, Kenneth Schulke of LaGrange, Ill. Carlton Schulke of Aurelia, James Schulke of Speckels, Calif., Douglas Schulke of Ida Grove Ia. Byron Schulke of Ames, Ia. Dana Schulke of , Garner, Ia. Mrs. Tom (Nadine) Pettis of Cottageville, S.C. and Mrs. Richard (Janice) Ogren, of Council Bluffs.
Pallbearers were Roger Mummert, Don Blake, Wesley Volkert, Ralph Hartwig, Bob Hartwig, and Raymond Buenger.
