Word has been received here of the death of Bert Miller, 56, at his home in Garrett, Texas, June 22.

Mr. Miller was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Peter Miller, and left this community some 30 years ago.

He is survived by six brothers, Carl of Marcus, Peter of Marathon, Chris of Paullina, William of Cleghorn, John of Aurelia and Herman of Remsen; and six sisters, Mrs. Nels Pallesen and Mrs. Johann Miller of Marcus, Mrs. Ted Lubbert of Paullina, Mrs. Ray Bogh of LeMars, Mrs. Walter Galvin of Storm Lake and Mrs. Einar Olson of Sioux City.

The funeral was held at Garrett, with Mr. and Mrs. Will Miller of Cleghorn, Mr. and Mrs. Chris Miller of Paullina, and Peter Miller of Marathon making the trip.
