Mrs. John (Myrtle) Doupe died Wed. at the Hilltop Care Center following a long illness.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday from Boothby Funeral Home with Rev. Eugene Tolstedt officiating. Buriel will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. a family prayer service will be held at 1:45 p.m. at the funeral home.
Myrtle McCannon was born , Mar. 24, 1886, in Cherokee County. She married Robert Lauer Feb. 24, 1904. He died Sept. 8, 1931. She married John Doupe in 1934. He died Apr. 9, 1963.
Mrs. Doupe was a member of Memorial Presbyterian Church, Westminister Society and the Pythian Sisters.
She was preceded in death by a foster son, Joe Aldis, 7 brothers and 5 sisters.
